E-COMMERCE TERMS
1. 1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Company website (“the Site”) and your relationship with Zeus Packaging (UK) Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, or “us”). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions please do not register for or use the Site.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions only apply if you are buying as a consumer. If you are buying as a business the Company’s general Terms and Conditions apply here.
2. The Company’s trading address is Aspect One, Gunnel’s Wood Road, Stevenage SG1 2DG.
3. By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Business buyers agree to be bound by the general Terms and Conditions mentioned at 1.2.
4. Prices
4.1 Your order is an offer to buy from us. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until we actually dispatch goods to you. At any point up until then we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason. At the moment the goods are dispatched a contract will be made between you and us and you will be charged for the goods.
4.2 The prices for the goods are clearly set out on the Site. If, by mistake, we have underpriced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item at the stated price provided we notify you before we dispatch the item concerned.
4.3 All prices are expressed are excluding VAT unless otherwise stated.
4.4 The cost of your shopping excludes any transaction fee that is payable in connection with a credit card.
5. Availability
If for any reason beyond our reasonable control we are unable to supply a particular item we will not be liable to you except to ensure that you are not charged for that item.
6. Delivery
6.1 Delivery will be made to you at the address within the UK specified by you on the completed order form. Please note that we cannot deliver to a post office box address.
6.2 We will deliver your order to the main entrance of the delivery address.
6.3 All orders are delivered by Zeus Packaging Group vehicles or by third party couriers. We make every effort to deliver on time but we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or full due to circumstances beyond our control. Your rights of cancellation, which are set out in paragraph 8, will apply. Our delivery schedules are as follows:
- Orders received by 2 pm will be dispatched on that day.
- Delivery to UK mainland addresses is free for all orders over £50. We aim to deliver within 2 or 3 working days of order.
- For delivery the next working day on the UK mainland we charge an additional £3 (England and Wales) or £6 (Scotland except Highlands and Grampians). However, for Highland and Grampians and all off-shore destinations, please contact Customer Services on 01438 777000 to obtain a price.
- Where delivery is required the next working day before noon please contact Customer Services on 01438 777000 for prices.
- Collections from our Stevenage depot are FREE. Please call us on 01438 777000 to arrange a collection time.
- Orders received by us on weekends and UK Bank Holidays will be processed on the next working day.
- Working days do not include weekends and UK Bank Holidays.
6.5 Please advise us within 24 hours of delivery of any shortage on delivery. We will not otherwise be responsible. To notify shortages you should contact the Company’s sales department on 01438 777000.
6.6 If delivery is via a third party courier they will attempt to deliver once. If they are unable to do so it is your responsibility to re-arrange the delivery or collect from the local depot. The courier will leave a card with instructions for you.
7. Returns
7.1 We hope you will be happy with your purchase. However should you feel it necessary to return an item, you may cancel the contract for its purchase by contacting the Company’s sales department on 01438 777000 within seven working days of delivery of the item to you.
7.2 You will be responsible for the cost of returning any item in the first instance unless we have delivered the item to you in error. The item should be returned to us in its original condition and original packaging. If we do not receive the item back from you we may arrange for collection of the item from you at your cost.
7.3 When we receive notice of cancellation of your contract for any item we will refund the price paid by you for that item or at your request if the item is defective supply you with a replacement item. If the item is defective we will also refund the cost to you of returning the item to us.
7.4 We will not refund the delivery charge for sending the order to you unless you are returning an entire order.
8. Cancellation and change prior to delivery
You can cancel or change any of your current orders prior to dispatch by contacting the Company’s sales department on 01438 777000.
9. Fitness for purpose
9.1 The Company warrants that food packaging items sold to you are suitable for food packaging purposes. The Company does not warrant their suitability for any other purpose.
9.2 All pictures displayed are a representation of the item only. The actual goods may vary from the image displayed.
10. Colour
Please note that slight variations in colour are an inevitable part of the production process. The Company cannot therefore guarantee a precise colour match with other goods.
11. Liability for defective goods
The Company’s liability to you is limited to refund of the price of the defective item and the cost to you of returning it to us.
12. Privacy policy
The Company does not disclose the customer’s information to third parties, nor does it store or retain in any way the customer's credit card information. All online transactions are made through web-based payment gateways such
as PayPal.
13. General
13.1 The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law.
13.2 The validity, legality or enforceability of any part of these Terms and Conditions will be unaffected by the invalidity, illegality or unenforceability of any individual part of these Terms and Conditions.
